Why do people feel the need to get drunk just to dance in public?
I'm that guy who dances in the middle of a room when no one else is dancing. Our bodies are beautiful and want to dance when there's good music and a nasty bass pumping. You ever tried to sit still while listening to your favorite song or a really good rhythm? You get restless leg syndrome. Your get restless feet syndrome. You get all ADD'd because all you want to do is enjoy the music and shake what your momma gave you. It's infectious, and ...
I couldn't imagine a more fun addiction.

I don't know whether I'm a good dancer or not. It helps that I'm not atrocious but I'm certainly not talented. The only lessons I've learned are from swing dance classes. And who the hell swing dances in a club? (Actually I would if someone would be my partner for a moment).
However I will dance no matter how ridiculous I look. Because life is short; or, even if it were long, looking awkward is too trifling a thing to care about.

If you would like some advice on getting better at dancing in public without having to resort to liquid courage, try to work dancing alone into your daily routine. Worse comes to worst, the best part of your day was having a solo dance party to any music of your choice (as opposed to the given selection at a club/pub/party) in the morning. I do it every day and it automatically puts me in a great, albeit sweaty mood.
Happy dancing!
The people in the video above look so happy. Love love love this video/song/euphony-inducing-aura
